Submissions Guidelines

Mission:

To create a spiritual home for artists, by providing them with a listening audience, a supportive and challenging arts community, and the freedom to create, experiment, and collaborate.

Format:

The Zoae Series is a bi-monthly showcase that presents artists from a variety of mediums on the same stage, giving each artist a sizeable presentation slot (30 minutes) before a listening audience. The single criterion for selection is excellence, but the series also encourages collaboration between artists from different genres, as well as experimentation outside an artist’s established themes or mediums. We are not interested in art which celebrates exploitation or degradation.

Compensation:

We believe the artist’s work is valuable and worth payment. Zoae Series artists will receive compensation for each performance, starting at $50.

  2. 2) Zoae Arts works in partnership with International Arts Movement (http://www.internationalartsmovement.org/) to discover new talent for presentation in the Gallery and Performance Vignettes at the annual IAM Conference, which draws hundreds of participants from around the world. All featured Zoae Series artists will be considered for inclusion in the conference and (for the appropriate disciplines) are invited to enter the juried competitions. Through this partnership, participation in the Zoae Series can be a valuable doorway to international exposure.
